Mauser Model 1910/34

History:

In 1933 the production of the 08-pistols was transferred from DWM/Berlin to Mauser in Oberndorf. At this time a face-lifting at the model 1914 took place too. The factory-director August Weiß (nickname "Parabellum-Weiß") changed the handle of the Mauser-pistols by making it more curved at the back in order to get a better handling. But the technical construction still was identical to the model of 1914. The changed .25 model was named model 1934, model C oder "Neunlader"(nine-loader) in several documents.
These models in .32 and .25 were among the best pocket pistols of the company Mauser. They have been produced between 1934 and 1939 and, in spite of the mighty competitor Walther with his pistols PP and PPK , they have been adopted in 1936 as ordonnance-handguns of parts of the police-departments in Germany. Even officers at the army carried this guns inofficially and in small amounts..
The numbering of the .25 model 1910/34 started somewhere around 403.000 and it seems about 25.000 pcs. have been produced.
