Diefke Kobra

History:

The Kobra is one of the less known constructions of the 1920ies. It was produced by Walter Diefke (or Dievke?) in Suhl and designed by August Schüler, who by that developed the first German vestpocket-pistol with external hammer.
The Kobra was neither sold in large numbers nor well known and today it is a quite rare pistol. It was not expensive: old catalogues of the 1930ies were advertising it at a price of 18,50 Reichsmark.
The piece of interest of this pistol is the action system, which can be taken out from the frame as complete working system for cleaning purposes.
