Browning Model 1906 (mid)

History:

Modell with 3 safeties:
Shortly after the introduction of the manual safety lever the pistol got equipped with an additional magazine-safety. This blocked the movement of the palm-safety lever, wenn no magazine was inside the pistol. In this variation the pistol was produced for the rest of the production time.
This third, late variation can be recognized from outside by the slightly bigger safety lever as well as by the broader front of the trigger in relation to the second variation. It was produced from about no. 180.000 to about 1.200.000, until the production was stopped in the 1930ies.
