Model 1907

History:

In 1907 Clement introduced a redesigned pattern of his first pistol Model 1903 in caliber 6,35mm (.25ACP) and 7.65mm (.32ACP).
The external dimension as well as the weight were reduced in order to compete with smaller concurrent pistols, which started flooding the market at that time. But the basic principle of disassembling was the same, but the function was changed to internal hammer.
It seems however, that many people did not like appearence of this new pistol and therfore it sold not very good. It was made just during a very short periode, as already one year later it got replaced by another redesigned pattern. Therefore numbers of production, even if not known exactly, seem to be very low.
By this reason also this model is already rather scarce today.
